Birmingham Blast-Off

Friends,
Cartoon Classroom is launched at the Birmingham International Comics Show on Oct 3rd at 3.30 as seen below! I'll be there - though not in costume. And, as usual, I'll also be doing some official signings at the show from 12.30-1.30 on Saturday 3rd, and at 2.30-3.30 on Sunday 4th, if you'd like to come and say hi - and why wouldn't you? Details on the show at www.thecomicsshow.co.uk.
I'll also be at the Asylum Books table from around 4.30 onwards on Sat, and again for an unspecified period on Sunday. You'll see me too at various times on the Cartoon Classroom table - though my specific task there will be to tell folks about the site, not my brilliant career!
I think I said all I needed to in asking for help from all of you in my posting about Cartoon Classroom previously. If there is any way you can help us spread the word of the site to all those who should hear about it and use it, please do so. We need your assistance.
See you at the weekend!

Forbidden Thursday

Friends,
Not much time to update recently, I'm very sorry to say. I am determinedly and tenaciously concentrating on helping the launch of Cartoon Classroom - the very valuable new web site I described in a previous posting - and there's been little time for other, less-urgent, pursuits. I've just got to tell you about being in London this week, though, at Forbidden Planet, Shaftesbury Avenue, on Thursday 24th from 6pm onward for a signing of the Absolute V for Vendetta. If you're going to buy one, you might as well buy one there, and get me to make it a little easier for you to sell on to someone if you fall on hard times in the future. I hope you're all holding up well in the middle of this tough period, and I wish you all the best of luck in continuing to do so.
Lastly, for now, let me appeal again to you to help Cartoon Classroom if you can. Any contacts or information you might have that will enable us to reach all the people the site is designed to assist would be greatly appreciated. We're getting lots of help now, but more is needed and would be very welcome. It launches on October 3rd at the Birmingham International Comics Show. And more on that as we get closer : )
