Marvel At An Exhibition
Friends,
Firstly, for all those wanting to work for Marvel Comics ,or aspiring to do so, take note of this if you're within travelling distance of London.
On Friday, April 8th, at London's Cartoon Museum, where some of the cream of British cartoon and comic art is exhibited for all to see, Marvel Comics' top talent chief, CB Cebulski, will be visiting to conduct an all-day portfolio review in three sessions :
12.30-2.00, 3.00-5.30, 6.00-7.00.
Entry is open to everyone at regular museum admission prices : 5.50 ( 3.00 for students ).
Please confirm attendance if you can by emailing contactcartoonclassroom@yahoo.co.uk or info@cartoonmuseum.org.
The Cartoon Museum is at 35, Little Russell St, London, WC1. Call them on 0207 580 8155 for any other details.
Steve Marchant and I will also be on hand throughout the day to give any extra advice and information those attending might require : )
One of the items on display at The Cartoon Museum is the very last page of V For Vendetta. Some of the rest of the book can be seen if you happen to be within travelling distance of Madeira this coming weekend, where the V For Vendetta touring exhibition is featured in Madeira's first Festival Of Sequential Art, running from Friday to Sunday. If that island is somewhere you can make your weekend getaway to, I'll be along at the festival if you'd like to come and say hi : )
Let me remind any of you who may represent a gallery or other festival, either in the UK, or beyond its shores, that the V for Vendetta tourer is available for hire. Details can be requested via www.cartooncounty.com.
And isn't it great that Spring is here again?
